James is a London based composer creating music for film and television. 

 

His music is characterised by combining dulcet piano writing with delicate orchestral textures and hybrid elements to support storytelling on screen.

Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in 2018, James  has composed music for a range of film and television projects, with his work praised at popular film festivals in the UK and internationally across Europe, and South America, and most recently, India.

 

He has collaborated with professional orchestras, choirs and soloists, including the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra and the Oxford Millennium Orchestra, taking any opportunity to bring his music to life through live performance and recording.
